Dog tag business card
This rounded-corner business card for a greyhound rescue organization has it all – a very unique concept, excellent high-quality logo, good use of embossing, the right choice of material to pull of the concept, and even a metal snap-ring with which the card can be hung. On top of it, this business card is for a very good cause – if you ever are considering owning a dog, please contact the local pound or a dog rescue and adopt!
They love dogs even more than they love printing over at iPrintToday.com – a rescued Pit and Dobey are their company mascots. Check out their site for the best prices for all your business card printing needs.
The "linty" business card
We get where they’re going with this business card and the idea is solid, but the problem that lies with this card is the material they choose to stick to it. Quite frankly, if someone handed me this business card, I’d drop it in horror, thinking that was John O’ Hurley’s pubes stuck to it. At the very best it looks like pocket lint.
Good concept, poor execution.
At iPrintToday.com, you can’t get business cards with dryer lint stuck to it, but you can get the finest quality lint-free business cards at the best prices aroud.
A business card NOT for vegetarians
iPrintToday.com does not yet print on meat, but they do print business cards on the highest quality card stock and provide fast turnaround and awesome customer service.
Black embossed business card
We recently featured a business card that took the concept of all-black to a level that sacrificed function in the name of form. The business card pictured above utilizes the all-black concept but adds some minor tweaks, which results in a much more effective and eye-pleasing card.
The first tweak is the embossment, which remains black but still adds some depth and character to the business card. The second tweak being a minor splash of beige to catch the reader’s eye. Rounded corners complete the effect.
iPrintToday.com is a great printing site that features different business card printing options such as rounded corners which can give your business card a much-needed bit of style.
Dual-color transparent business card
Plastic business cards are becoming increasingly more and more popular due the solid, thick card stock that is much more substantial than regular paper business cards and the ability to create unique transparent designs such as the business card pictured above.
We’ll assume this business card is for a SEO consultant. They riffed off of the name of the company “Viewzi” and the company tagline and came up with a plastic business card in the idea of a window – very clever.
However, what really sets this business card apart from some other transparent business cards is the use of two tones. The black strip on the bottom of the card with a transparent font for the company information is brilliant and adds a needed dimension of color and delineation to the card. Most transparent business cards tend to be one color, but these people didn’t bother to make a card that looks like everyone else’s.
When you are ready to print your uniquely-designed business card, I recommend visiting iPrintToday.com, where you will find the best prices on the web along with a simple ordering process.
Color-shifting business card
This is an excellent example of someone who used the UV spot coat technique to their advantage. When the card is viewed from different angles, parts of the text “disappear” due to the normally high solids content of UV coating/varnish. This results in the surface of the cured text being extremely reflective and glossy.
The back side of the business card remains true to itself by keeping the theme consistent and clean. The end result is a very subtle and effective business card.
iPrintToday.com offers UV coating for all of its printed business cards, allowing you to achieve new and innovative business card designs.
No "faults" with this embossed business card
A simple frontage for your business card is an effective way to go when trying to set yourself apart from the seemingly endless stream of competing business card designs. This business card uses a green background, which, in our opinion, is an under-utilized color by many designers. The simple embossed crossed rackets are reminiscent of a country club logo and invite the client to flip the card over to get more information.
When the card is flipped over, we are treated to a tournament-type bracket with the necessary contact information filled out. This is a completely unique idea and a great way to incorporate aspects of this instructor’s particular industry.
I have found the best site around to get business cards printed at competitive prices. Visit iPrintToday.com today and see what I’m talking about!
Awesome faux-leather embossed business card
This is a very classy business card that utilizes what we assume to be a brushed-plastic material which achieves much the same effect as a leather-bound encyclopedia. Also featured are embossed dots which complete the classic library feel to this business card. A well-chosen font is also a key to this business cards’ appeal.
iPrintToday.com is my personal stop anytime I need business card printing. They’d love to see you there.
A Plant Business Card – Grow your Contacts
This is not the first time we have seen a business card that is able to grow a plant, though this business card has an extra ingenious feature of a seed stencil that allows the logo to be grown on either earth or lawn; on uncut grass, the message would remain hidden until the area was mown.
Or just dip this little guy in water and you have a minature growing alfalfa plant on your desk. Not bad.
iPrintToday.com is an excellent resource for anything to do with business card printing and design. Check them out and you’ll be glad you did.
Great Idea Business Card – The Word Search
Graphic Designers are some of the most creative people when it comes to good business card ideas, due in no small part to the fact that a decent graphic designer may be asked to design hundreds of business cards in any given year. Needless to say, they’re exposed to many different concepts.
Here is a business card that is yet another perfect example of our mantra of “finding inspiration in the everyday.” How many times have you done a word search puzzle in your life? And not one of those times did you ever consider making a business card out of one, did you? Neither did I.
The forward-thinking cat who was smart enough to create this business card is a thinking-man’s designer. Quite brilliant.
We rate this card a perfect ☺☺☺☺ out of 4.
While you’re at it, head over to iPrintToday.com and find your business card inspiration.
